For a B2B marketer, there is nothing like a great in-person event—the perfect venue, top-notch speakers, great food and drinks and, of course, socializing and networking.

While our company has relaunched in-person events this year, online events can and should also be part of the future of event marketing in B2B. Better technology that encourages conversation, proven flexibility that includes more people who can’t make it the destination and the ability to attract attendees at a lower cost all point to the value of online events.

Determining how to combine the two is both an art and a science. As online and in-person combine to become part of every event marketer’s plan, it’s important to be smart about this new approach.
