Meeting goals and making plans: Finding success in Q4 and beyond

Autumn is upon us and B2B marketers are focused on hitting goals for Q3 and getting the all-important Q4 kicked off successfully. The home stretch season can be filled with stress, or it can be a time when confidence grows, depending on how you’re trending against your numbers.

High performance was the focus of our annual flagship Technology Marketing Exchange event in Half Moon Bay on September 21 and 22. Several thought leaders, including Nora Conklin, Principal Analyst at Forrester, Ilisia Shuke, Director at Winterberry Group, and Alisia Brijlall, Commercial Media Director of Global Media at Microsoft, gathered to share their case studies and insights on data-driven account-based marketing, technology-driven demand generation, and the future of B2B data. As always, the exchange included a hefty dose of networking and learning between colleagues in addition to the great thought leadership on stage.

We discussed how a focus on data and measurement throughout the year is critical for high performance. Intent data in particular delivers differentiated performance for B2B marketers and is becoming a major component of successful data-driven strategies. In The Forrester Wave™: B2B Intent Data Providers, Q2 2023, the consultancy recommends that B2B marketers should look for providers that meet the distinct needs of their marketing and sales use cases, offer incremental insights with unique collection methodologies and align with their geographic coverage requirements.
